Gavar Special School

The ultimate destiny of Gavar Special School is to be the best special needs education school it can be.  The education development process is just beginning at Gavar Special School as it moves from a Soviet era style of teaching to an inclusive and engaging model of education.  The process has begun with the help of Mission East as each student now has a personalized education plan and there is a curriculum that has been adopted by the Ministry of Education for special needs children.

In addition to education, the children’s health must be considered.  Due to the nature of the student population, there are many health needs of the children and facilities are needed to meet the needs of these students.  Most importantly, the education of the teachers is needed so each staff member has the needed skills to meet each child’s educational needs.
