To decide what is more important, a roof or windows, heat or transportation, a list of needs has been developed. The following is a list of capital needs. The list has been prioritized by the Staff and Volunteers but is open to discussion.
The difficulty with the situation in which Gavar Special School finds itself is to decide how to best advance educational needs and meet the physical needs of the children such as a safe school, a warm classroom and a comfortable place to sleep. If we use Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, we need to first ensure the school is functional and safe. The following steps hope to illustrate how to reach that goal.
